We can't quite believe we are now 3 months into 2011: "how time flies when you're having fun"! Genuine Cakes are having an incredibly eventful first quarter exhibiting at numerous Wedding Fairs and subsequently holding wedding consultations here at our Unit in Watford.
Apprentices
Due to our extremely busy workload, Genuine Cakes have recently employed two apprentices. Amy Bird and Abigail Wilson both joined in March and have already been initiated into the Genuine Cakes workforce.
New Van
Genuine Cakes have another new member of staff, perhaps a little more shy than Abi and Ami as she prefers to park herself outside the Unit! Marge drives like a dream and wears the huge teal blue "Genuine Cakes" sign on each side! Look out for her when she's out and about delivering our cakes.
 Royal Wedding Cakes
To commemorate that Very Important Wedding on Friday 29th April, we have commissioned our very own Royal Wedding cake designs, named Catherine and Kate (pictured right).
Wedding Fayres
Wedding Fairs are coming to an end, but for those of you who are still in the planning stages of your wedding you can still find us at our last two shows for this half of the year:
17 April: Alexandra Palace, London and
Offley Place, Hitchin, Herts
Look out for dates for Autumn Wedding Fairs from September 2011.

Since the introduction of our 10 new flavours in January this year, we have been inundated with sample requests. Coconut & Lime and Chocolate & Chilli seem to be the 'hot' favourites! Order yours today from our website.
The New Game to Get: sussed!™
