Happy New Year! Welcome to Genuine Cakes' First Newsletter of 2011

2010 was an incredible year for Genuine Cakes. It’s been exactly one year since we moved into our new premises, exhibited at several Wedding Fayres and Exhibitions and helped countless couples to achieve their dream wedding.

2011 promises to be an even bigger year for us and we are looking forward to the challenge!

New Cupcake Flavours

Our creative juices are flowing and have created some mouth watering new recipes.  In addition to our existing 18 flavours, here are the latest additions to the Genuine Cakes portfolio:

Novelty Cakes

Due to popular demand we are introducing Novelty Cakes to our portfolio.  From handbags to washing machines and everything in-between, why not try something a little different for your next special event!

Genuine Cakes Supports the Government Apprenticeship Scheme

We are giving College and University Students the opportunity to work with us at Genuine Cakes. This will be beneficial to both the Students and Genuine Cakes: they will gain first hand experience and an insight into working in a growing industry whilst contributing to the long-term growth of our business. We hope to be able to introduce you to new members of Genuine Cakes in the next newsletter.

Fruitcake Without the Bits (FWB) Formally Known as Spice Cake

We have recently rebranded our unique and most popular cake to FRUITCAKE WITHOUT THE BITS (FWB). No change to the recipe, still deliciously light and moist as usual.

Community News 

At the beginning of the Football season we sponsored local Watford club Everitt Rovers They didn’t get off to a good start but now that the Christmas celebrations are over and a New Year has begun they are as enthusiastic as they’ve ever been.  Good luck to them this season!

Because of the huge demand for On-Site Wedding Cake Consultations, we have now made more times available as follows:

Mondays 5pm-8pm
Saturdays: 11am-5pm

Together we can design your wedding cake whilst sampling a variety of our delicious flavours.
